Will Batts has always been in the property industry – with a successful property developer as a grandfather, you could almost say it was a family business. “I’ve grown up around property – it’s in the blood,” says Will. “I always expected to get involved in it.”
Alan and Liz Butler had to move – their house was old and needed a lot of work. And when you race lawnmowers and build hovercrafts in your spare time, as Alan does, a regular house just isn’t going to cut the mustard. Initially, they looked at renovating but realised that if they built they’d get exactly what they needed – man cave and all. “If we sold, we could move, buy land and build,” Alan explains.
